What is a DG endorsement?

Anyone who handles or transports any dangerous goods, e.g.. fuel and chemicals, by road in New Zealand needs a DG endorsement. The DG endorsement expires every 5 years, and you must re-sit a DG assessment, and have it endorsed on your licence.

Resources

The trainee will be provided with a personal copy of the Dangerous Goods quick guide, Emergency response information sheet and a segregation wheel on the day. It is a requirement that trainees be able to read and answer specific questions within the Assessment without assistance.
